London Sinfonietta Performance - July 2025

This term we were delighted to take part in the Sound Our Project working with members of the London Sinfonietta Orchestra and the Hampshire Music Service. Our musicians enjoyed an incredible opportunity to play alongside members of the orchestra and learn two pieces of contemporary music, while other students composed a piece with members of the orchestra based on the theme 'Music Room'. This culminated in a concert at the Princes Hall in Aldershot, to which local schools were invited to hear the pieces our students performed with the orchestra, together with the premier of Music Room, the piece our students wrote together with the composer Lucy Armstrong.
