At Calthorpe Park School we know how important excellent attendance is and this is reflected by our overall attendance which is high. However we also know that maintaining high attendance is sometimes difficult and we will always work closely and proactively with families if they need support. This support is tailored to the individual family and could be either short or long term: whatever is needed to help ensure all of our students gain the best education possible.
On the few occasions where absence becomes a persistent problem we follow the Hampshire Code of Conduct including penalty notices for non-attendance at school as per the Education Act 1996.
If you have any questions about attendance, in the first instance please contact our attendance officer, Mrs Breda Gibbard here: firstname.lastname@example.org.
