Neil Reynolds and Kerry Pascucci are the new Careers Advisers from Hampshire Futures (part of Hampshire County Council), working at Calthorpe Park School every Tuesday and Thursday. They are both qualified to Level 6 in Career Guidance and Development, and registered with the Career Development Institute.
Neil has worked in many education settings including secondary schools and colleges plus has a background in business, marketing, management and the music industry.
Kerry has a background in Health and Social Care and has been a qualified level 7 Careers Adviser since 2007. She started her career within the Connexions service and has gained extensive experience within many educational establishments, ranging from secondary schools, alternative education centres, 6th form colleges, and the virtual school as well as undertaking various other roles.
The career advisers see their role as guiding students to make aspirational, but realistic, informed decisions for their future pathways by asking challenging questions and providing the information and tools for them to explore the possibilities open to them. They encourage students to find out what is out there in the careers world, and research what may suit them, to keep options open and not to be afraid to make decisions when the time is right.
Students can make appointments for Tuesdays by speaking to Ms Wayman or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and a time will be arranged as soon as possible.
