Uniform Requirements PE Kit Ordering, Delivery, and Returns
It is expected that students are dressed smartly and appropriately for a focused learning environment at all times.
All items of uniform should be clearly named using permanent marker, iron-on or sew-in tapes. Please note biro is not suitable as a marker.
Trousers: Black, smart, tailored style; plain, no cord, jean or legging style/material, no extreme tightness.
Skirts: Black box pleated, no extremes of length or tightness; no stretch material. If a skirt is worn - socks (black) or tights (black or neutral) should be plain. Skirts should be reflective of a style appropriate to a professional job interview. The hem should be closer to the knee than the hip.
Shirt or Blouse with stiff collar: White, long or short-sleeved, no sports shirts.
House tie: Available to order online via SWI. We have limited stock available from Reception.
School Sweatshirt: Maroon with logo – available from online supplier SWI.
Shoes: Plain, black, formal, enclosed shoes. Heel of no more than 5 cm. No fashion footwear, boots, trainers, sandals or logoed brands. Black socks (or black/natural tights) only to be worn with uniform (no white socks).
Outdoor wear: Coats and jackets should be an appropriate plain, colour without slogans. No denim or hoodies.
Aprons: Maroon apron for Food Technology - available to order online via SWI. We have limited stock available from Reception.
Art Overall: An old, long-sleeved shirt that covers uniform is sufficient.
Bags: Students should bring a reasonable-sized, secure rucksack (no handbags), which must be big enough for A4 sized books and folders.
Summer Term Uniform (Optional):
White polo shirts with House colour logo on the collar are available from online supplier SWI.
Black, formal shorts, no stretch or cargo styles.
These may only be worn during the summer term.
Additional note: Year 11 students can wear their historical summer CPS polo shirt due to the limited timescale that they have left at school. Plain white polo shirts are not permitted.
Year 11 Uniform: Black V-neck sweatshirt with school logo in House colour - available from online supplier SWI. Tie not compulsory, however an optional maroon tie is available to purchase from Reception.

No artificial aspects of make up are permitted, for example, acrylic nails, false eyelashes, etc. The school reserves the right to decide whether an item of uniform or jewellery, make-up or hairstyle complies with the above standards. Any items of jewellery considered unacceptable may be confiscated for a fixed period of time. |
It is important that ALL items are clearly named.
All jewellery, including studs and sleepers, must be removed for all PE lessons. Newly pierced ears must be covered for the initial 6-week period.
Students with long hair must have hair tied back.

Uniform items should be ordered directly from our online supplier SWI via their website.
Items can be delivered to school free of charge.
SWI offer free of charge returns for orders over £75. If unsure of sizes it is advisable to order more than one size to try at home.
SWI DO NOT offer exchanges on orders. Incorrect items will need to be reordered.
SWI offer free delivery to school during term time. Orders placed before Friday will usually be delivered to CPS on Tuesday. Orders will be held at reception for collection.
