Inside the Classroom - January 2026

We held our inaugural 'Inside The Classroom' event last night where parents became students for a sample of school life.

They had a high octane start with a wonderful House Assembly by the legendary Mr Darmanin, proud Head of Topaz.

This was followed by a selection of sessions where they learnt how to: foreshadow creepy events in English; bisect a line in Maths; measure gravitational pull in Science; make historical interpretations on the lives of commonwealth troops in WW1; identify different river types and the causes of earthquakes in Geography; speak with a perfect Spanish accent in MFL; make Chinese music in Music; debate about human dignity in RE; research dental hygiene and work as a group to distil information in PSHE. And all of this in just 2 hours!

We are grateful to staff who volunteered their evening to teach and parents for supporting us. Watch this space for another chance to experience what it's like for your children, Inside The Classroom.
