Spring Review - March 2025

We enjoyed a great evening of musical performances by students across all year groups at the Spring Review. Our students entertained and amazed our audience of guests and parents with music from across the world. For Year 11 students who have been involved in music-making since arriving at Calthorpe, this was the last opportunity for them to perform here. We wish them well as they move on, especially with their studies of music.

Thanks to Theo H in Year 11 who composed and played a piece of music on guitar in memory of Maks Asher who died three years ago when in Year 8. We were pleased to have Maks' mother join us for the performance, and for the opportunity to remember him.

Ticket, raffle and refreshment sales and the retiring collection raised nearly £900 over the evening - thanks to all who supported so generously, with this money going to the Music department and to Ocean Stars, to support our partner schools and community groups across Sri Lanka.
