Remembrance - November 2022

The Last Post played just before 11am on Friday 11 November by Mr Forster, plus Robert and Alice in Year 9, before the two minutes silence, surrounded by students and staff. This was also livestreamed to other classes further away on the site.

Earlier, students had worked during tutor time, reflecting on the day and what it means, combining their efforts into a display of poppies with some very thoughtful responses.

As part of marking Remembrance Day, Book Club in the Library looked at a range of books that reflected both World War 1 and 2. We read about and discussed the famous football match on Christmas Day, and made poppy wreaths to add to the Library display.
