Four students competed in the Senior District athletics competition this week (23 May) and two of those students have been selected to represent the District (a team made up of a selection of students from all the schools in the area) at the Hampshire Schools County Championships in June in Portsmouth.

Jamie G (Y9) is now the District Champion in the U15 Boys 100m and will be competing at Counties in that and the Relay.

Rebecca P (Y9) is now the District Champion in the U15 Girls 200m and she came second in the Long Jump. She will be competing at Counties in both the 200m and the Long Jump.

The girls Netball teams won their League for Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 District Netball, with Years 7 and 8 runners up in their League. This is a fantastic achievement for all players and teams and is the best set of results we have ever had! This means that all teams will be promoted next season and it would be great to have lots more players involved in September.

U16 Girls Football - On Friday evening (20th May) our Under 16 girls football team competed in the Hampshire Cup Final. They fought hard but unfortunately lost 3-2 to Robert May's School. Both goals in the final scored by Kyla Hayes. We are extremely proud of the girls' progress and outstanding football this season!
