Jubilee Celebrations - May 2022

With Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, celebrating her Platinum Jubilee after seventy years on the throne, the History Department have hosted various events to celebrate this achievement.

During KS3 History Lessons we have been busy learning about the Queen's life through an interactive quiz around school followed by our very own street party to mark the occasion.

All Tutors have taken part in a Jubilee Bunting Competition which has seen all tutor bases decorated in red, white and blue.

Students have had an opportunity to be creative with pencil and pen with our Jubilee Art and Poetry Competitions. Students have also been baking up an appetite with their delicious Jubilee Theme bake off cakes which were judged by Mr John and a panel of CPS teachers.

A big thank you must go to all the students for their participation in all competitions - the standard of entries was exceptional! We will be announcing the winners of each competition next half term.
