WHAT TO EXPECT
The London Sinfonietta is renowned for its dedication to contemporary classical music, often hosting events that encourage creativity and new compositions.
This trip offers an exciting opportunity for the school's musicians, who will have the unique chance to compose original pieces that will be performed by the Sinfonietta at Princes Hall.
Students who took part in the Composing Workshop but are not involved in the Ensemble workshop will attend the concert as audience members, to hear their compositions brought to life by professional musicians. Meanwhile, students participating in the Ensemble workshop will perform two pieces during the concert, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting.
This experience will not only enhance their musical skills but also provide a platform to showcase their creativity and hard work.
