Y8 Mindfulness Days - July 2016

On 7th and 8th July, all Year 8 students took part in four very enjoyable Mindfulness Workshops, which enabled our students to explore the secular and religious concept of being ‘mindful’ and all its associated benefits.  On both mornings we had the great privilege of having with us Rev Seishin of the Japanese Buddhist Tradition, who taught students about the emotional and health benefits of meditating on a daily benefits.  It was quite amazing to witness Rev Seishin lead students into mindful meditation. Our students afterwards had many very mature and enthusiastic comments regarding Rev Seishin’s workshop.  Our thanks go to Rev Seishin for his kindness in giving up his free time to participate in our Mindfulness Mornings.
