A Year of Remarkable Achievement
Celebrating Excellence at Calthorpe Park School
Calthorpe Park School is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Year 11 students, whose results this summer reflect academic excellence alongside their resilience, determination and personal growth. In a year where national trends show a dip in top grades, our students have truly shone, demonstrating that hard work and perseverance continue to yield exceptional outcomes.
We are thrilled to highlight the phenomenal success of Alicia C, Josh D and Lily J who achieved 12, 10 and 10 Grade 9s respectively whilst also securing Grade As in additional Maths which is also a level 3 qualification. Alice B and John S secured 9 Grade 9s, achieved Grade As in Additional Maths whilst also obtaining a range of Grade 8 qualifications. Furthermore we would also like to celebrate Tara B, Grace C and Isabelle W who have amassed 22 grade 9s and 8 grade 8s. These results are a testament to their dedication and passion for learning.
Equally impressive are the accomplishments of Izzy B, Emily C, Sophie C, Mahala C, Sophie H, Robert H, Nathan H, Tanya I, Immy R, Kate R and Rebeca W-E who collectively earned an astonishing 50 Grade 9s, 48 Grade 8s, 7 Grade 7s and 6 Grade 6s. Their success reflects the high standards and aspirations we nurture at Calthorpe Park.
We also celebrate the exceptional progress made by students who exceeded expectations, achieving on average more than two grades above statistical forecasts. Congratulations to Georgina A, Saif A, Ed F, Tanya I, Kinita J, Dhiya K, Harry M, Aarush P, Oscar P, Amin R-K, Grace W, Isabelle W, Lukas W and Rebeca W-E Their growth and commitment are truly inspiring.
A special commendation goes to our English as an Additional Language students, who have overcome significant language barriers to achieve super GCSE results. Students such as Lexie C, Dhiya K and Charles L exemplify the power of perseverance and the inclusive spirit of our school community.
Headteacher Kevan John shared his pride, saying:
“We are absolutely delighted with the achievements of our students. Despite challenges and interruptions to their early secondary schooling, they have shown remarkable resilience and drive. These results reflect our Year 11’s academic successes as well as their personal growth and readiness for the future. Our dedicated teachers and support colleagues, have worked tirelessly to support all our students, and we are confident that they are well prepared for the exciting opportunities ahead, whether that be Sixth Form, apprenticeships, or the world of work.”
