UKMT Team Challenge Day - February 2025

Students from Years 8 and 9 took part in the UKMT Team Challenge at High Wycombe going head-to-head against 21 other schools. The rounds included Relays, CrossNumber, Shuttle and Group round, and involved working together to solve problems even when separated by the length of a hall.

"Going to the UKMT Team Challenge was not only fun but also great for mixing with new people and teamwork. as a state school student it was surprising as I entered the massive hall filled with private school students all in their blazers. There were four events, each around 60 marks and we split into two teams of two , working together to answer the questions. My favourite event had to be the cross number as I like logical events. Overall we only lost 11 marks, one mark from 3rd and I am very proud of all of us for coming 4th against 22 multiple private schools." Oscar S
