A View from the Bridge Theatre Trip - March 2015

Our Year 11s and a group of our Year 10 English students enjoyed a night at the theatre on Tuesday, 10th March.

Year 11 have been studying ‘A View from the Bridge’ in preparation for their English Literature GCSE exam in May. Seeing it live allowed the play to lift off the page and pupils were able to experience the play in a much more visual way.

Whilst watching, many of the pupils were able to spot the quotes and themes that they have been revising.

Some of Year 10 will be studying it later this year, and so it was very helpful for them ahead of reading the text in class.

The trip went very well and all 94 pupils displayed fantastic behaviour. Thank you to both the staff and the students for an enjoyable night!
