Training for Luna - February 2022

Luna is now 7 months old and enjoying being in school twice a week (although this is kept flexible for her welfare). She worked hard with the CAL trainer and her handlers in her last session. This session concentrated on her relationship with her handlers and walking around campus safely. 

Luna passed her assessment by CAL and is now allowed to start training with students in a calm environment. She's been learning to perfect settling during these sessions and is already making a difference in the ELSA rooms. We'll see her trainer again during the next half term to continue working on her skills and extend her working in other areas of the school.

Although she often doesn't want to get in the car to go home, I'm sure she will enjoy a well earned half term break along with the rest of the CPS staff and students.
