Music & Drama at Christmas - December 21

The Music and Drama departments have performed in various locations around school all week, starting early as students arrived in the morning, outside the new cafe during morning break and in the Courtyard at lunchtimes. Music ranged from the jazz and woodwind bands, the bell ringers, the guitar/ukulele/mandolin group, choir, a staff quartet, samba (students and staff), and the string group!

Drama performances included an extract from the pantomime and some Christmas readings. We are in the middle of rehearsing ‘Cinderella’ - the show has been written, cast, directed and choreographed entirely by the students and is due to be performed in February.

Both departments are so pleased to have been able to coordinate these performances after such a long gap. Well done to all performers who brightened up the last week of term and thank you to all involved in the organisation!
