Y8 Trip to York - March 2014

York was a really good trip!

The best part of the trip was the independence.  When you went shopping and to visit the museums, you had a certain place you had to be at for a certain time.  Most of the nights you had an activity, such as bowling, which was good and a fun competitive game, played with your friends.  You also had prizes for afterwards, one for the girls and one for the boys.  I enjoyed this trip a lot.  The food was delicious.  You had a cooked breakfast in the morning and a mix of things to choose from in the evening.

Another day we went to the sea life centre to see the animals being fed and also to see a seal in recovery from a recent attack.  There was also a cute, charming seal named Bubbles who was blind in one eye.

Swimming was fantastic! It was fantastic because we went down in rubber rings and raced our friends.  Another slide was the fast and ferocious slide that had a sudden drop at the end!  I recommend the York trip for the next group that goes because it is an amazing trip.  You make new friends and have an amazing experience.
