PE Update - March 2019

Basketball Season Round Up

Year 8
Won their league finishing with a 100% record
Sadly beaten in the District Cup Final by a well organised Bohunt side 22-16

Year 10
Lost 1 legaue game and came runners up in Division 1 to a strong Yateley side that also beat them in the District Final 70-49.

 

Boys Football

Year 8 sadly went out of the Elite Schools National Cup at the Quarter Final Stage after being beaten by the reigning champions Whitgifts 3-2. With two players injured and another having to come off just before half time it was always going to be tough but we were very unlucky to lose the game!
They are safely through to the Hampshire Cup Semi Final and the District Cup Semi Final.

Year 7 & 9 got back to winning ways beating All Hallows 3-0 (Yr 7) and Yateley 6-4 (Yr 9)

Year 10 and 11 both sadly exited the District Cup at the Quarter Final stages losing to Wavell and Fernhill respectively.

 

Cross Country – Hampshire School Championships

We had 4 athletes who represented the District at the recent Hampshire Championships:

Max P came 18^th and Olly W 33^rd in the U14 Boys

Emily P came 8^th in the U14 Girls.
