ELSA
An ELSA (Emotional Learning Support Assistant) is trained to plan and deliver specialist programmes of support to students who are experiencing temporary or longer term emotional needs. ELSAs are trained and regularly supervised by the Educational Psychologist in the Local Education Authority.
We deliver individual and small group work tailored programmes of support to help with a wide range of issues including self-esteem, loss and bereavement, anxiety, anger management and social skills.
