Eligible students will be invited to register for this trip and issued with a Trip Confirmation Letter.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT 

Led by the Women’s Engineering Society, in June every year, the International Women in Engineering Day is celebrated (INWED). INWED is an international awareness campaign that aims to support, inspire, and educate students about the diverse careers available in STEM, while also raising the profile of women in this field.

The students will take part in a variety of activities led by scientists and engineers such as:

  • Impact testing
  • Team challenge
  • Virtual Reality
  • Simulators
