Free creative workshops in Camberley - during half term
This November 1 and 2 the Surrey Youth Arts and Culture Festival will be coming to Camberley Theatre and Camberley Library. Delivered by Surrey County Council, in partnership with Surrey Heath Borough Council, and a wide range of partners, the festival provides free creative workshops and performances for young people aged 11 - 18, and aims to encourage participation in the arts, and promote creative skills development and creative careers.
Some experiences include:
• the National Film and Television School (NFTS) to discover more about careers behind the camera in the Film , TV, and Games industry.
• Creative Writing Workshop: How to create Your Own Hero with author, Tim Tilley
• DJing, Learn to Beat match and Mash-Up Your Favourite Chart Hits with Surrey Arts!
• How to be a creator with simple to use immersive technologies, including Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence, with the StoryFutures team through Royal Holloway University London.
• Musical Theatre, with the Secret Stage School, an award winning stage school based in Camberley, Surrey.

The Surrey Youth Arts and Culture Festival is supported and delivered by partner organisations including the University of Creative Arts, Royal Holloway University, the National Film and Television School, Story Future and many more.
Free youth voice ambassadors training, recommended for young people that are involved in Duke of Edinburgh Award as this can support their awards hours. This is open to all students aged 11-18 with priority given to children from service families:
