Y8 Winchester Science Trip – July 2016

This term Year 8 students were able to experience the many wonders of our own Universe at the Winchester Science centre.

The focus of part of the trip was to visit the Planetarium and watch the interactive show ‘flight through the universe’ on a full- screen 360 degree video projector.

The trip also gave students the chance to view many aspects of maths in real life situations – from bearing to balancing equations. Students were also able to join the rowing activity and look at speed, distance and time in a really engaging manner.
