Wintershall – June 2015

On 25th June our Year 7 students enjoyed an amazing day in the beautiful surroundings of the Wintershall Estate in Bramley, near Guildford.

The purpose of our visit to Wintershall was to watch the open air play ‘The Life of Christ’ which was performed in different locations around the estate. During the course of the day we sat under a shady eucalyptus tree by a beautiful lake to watch Jesus being baptised by John the Baptist. Later we sat on colourful bales of hay around yet another lake to watch Jesus appearing to his disciples following his Resurrection.

We are very thankful to Mrs Auld for the amazing photos she took of some of the stunning scenes. These pictures speak for themselves. In many instances Mrs Auld has also captured the spiritual quality of the scene.

All in all it was a great day to remember and few of us will forget the cute little mole who was determined to be part of the Calthorpe party. Enjoy the pictures!
