Weekly Update – 8 May

Course for Parents: Parenting teenagers can be rewarding, but it also comes with challenges. We are inviting parents to a free taster session for the Time Out for Parents: The Teenage Years course — a supportive and practical programme designed to help parents better understand their teenagers, improve communication, and strengthen family relationships.  Two six-week courses will run in June/July and September/October.

Year 11 Hoodies: The shop is open for final orders at this link.  It will close on the evening of Sunday 10 May, so please complete any orders by that time as the company cannot accept late orders.

WEEKLY SPOTLIGHT:  We are delighted to introduce the new School Life section of our website, designed to give parents easy access to key information about daily life at our school. The section includes timings of the school day, details of Pastoral Care, an introduction to our Heads of House, and information about Behaviour, Attendance, Uniform, Catering, Health & Wellbeing, and support available via our Inclusion Hub. We hope parents will find this area a helpful one-stop resource for supporting their child’s experience at school.

The Armed Forces Charity, SSAFA, have produced a leaflet providing support and guidance for young people at an unsettling time and which some families may find useful.
