Happy Birthday Luna!  Thank you to all our Year 6 visitors who helped celebrate Luna’s 4th birthday on Thursday! She loved all the attention and is looking forward to seeing these students again in September!

On 27th June, we took a group of 58 Year 10s to Thorpe Park to celebrate their amazing hard work throughout Year 10, achieving a very high number of achievement points, as well as good attendance. The students were excellent, looking after themselves in the really hot weather and having a great time in their groups. The new Hyperia ride was a firm favourite, with some students even seeing the ride stop at the top and still queueing up to go on it themselves!! All students were polite and sensible throughout the whole day and were a wonderful group to take to Thorpe Park. It was even topped off with some karaoke-style singing at the back of the coach on the way home! A big well done to all our Year 10s on this trip for a great day.

Parent Appeal – The library is on the lookout. If you are having a sort out over the summer weeks and find you have either of the following, we would be happy to take them here at the library to add to making it a cosy, comfortable space for the students.

  • Small bean bags with removable washable covers
  • Plastic plants.

Our students enjoy the library as a calm place to relax and so we are always on the lookout for items that help add that little something to the space!
