Year 7 Christmas Disco: To celebrate their first term here, Year 7 students are invited to a Disco on Thursday 11 December from 6.30 – 8.30pm. Christmas Jumpers/festive outfits are encouraged! To book a place, please sign up and pay via Scopay by 5th December. The Ocean Stars fundraising team will also have a stall with drinks/snacks/other items – students should bring cash on the night.
We have had a very successful first few days of our Book Fair. Several Year 7 and 8 classes have visited during their English lessons with more classes to come next week, and students have been popping in to browse during break and lunchtimes. We will continue to host the fair until the end of Thursday 4th December so there’s still plenty of time for a bit of Christmas shopping!

HCC are proposing some works on local pathways and are inviting comments by 17 December. See their proposal here and a map here.
Our Bar Mock team performed superbly at the National Bar Mock Trial Competition at Southampton Crown Court on Saturday 22nd November. Our students showed they meant business when it came to court battle, attaining an amazing second place beating predominantly 6th form colleges. Additionally, they gained comments from various colleges and the judges were astounded at their age based on their high standard of performance. It really was a delight to see the look of impressed shock on some older students’ faces! We want to commend the team for their hard work and dedication and say we could not be prouder. Well done to: Lauren M, Sienna P, Grace H, Isabelle M, Natalia V, Athena P, Jessica M, Mia K, Esme O-V, Chloe B, Poppy R, Deema S, Nicoletta D, Lilea M.
Trips Reminder: If you have recently applied for a place on a trip and submitted the required payment by the deadline, you should have received an email confirming the outcome of your application on Tuesday, 25 November (Wednesday, 26 November for the Y9 Battlefields trip). Please check your inbox for the email from EVOLVE/Hampshire County Council.

Since EVOLVE is a relatively new system for communicating trip information, please contact the Trips Team promptly if you did not receive the email so that any issues can be resolved without delay.
Please note that the Place Confirmation Letters and other relevant trip information can now be accessible via myEvolve app should you choose to register. Registration is optional and it is provided as an additional tool to help parents track all trips their child has signed up for.
