Weekly Update โ ย 27 June 2025
We held a Leaversโ Assembly for our Year 11 students last Friday, followed by their Prom at Warbrook House on Wednesday evening. It was wonderful to see the students in beautiful dresses and smart suits! We wish them all the best for their long summer holidays and look forward to seeing them at Results Day in August.

Hampshire Book Awards: Thirteen Year 8 students had a fantastic time at the Hampshire Book Award voting day at Eggarโs School on Wednesday, engaging in lively discussions with peers from across the county. They impressed with their knowledge of the six shortlisted books and showed great enthusiasm throughout โ we are always impressed by the high standard participation skills of our students in such events. Although only a limited number could attend the event, many other students contributed through reading and meetings, and their efforts are equally appreciated. Thank you to all the Year 8 students involved for the time and effort they gave to the HBA.
This yearโs winning book was Smoke and Mirrors by Barry Jonesbergโa favourite among our group for its magic tricks and Graceโs inspiring journey. Weโre now hoping Barry will travel from Australia to attend the โMeet the Authorโ event in October.
