Weekly Update – 24 October 2025

Please see our latest Newsletter here.

We are holding a Food Drive during November for the Hart Food Bank – see this letter for details.

We finish for the half-term break today at 3pm, returning to school on Monday 3 November.

Please check the October Trip Bulletin for trips opening for applications on Tuesday, 4 November.  We would like to remind parents that all trip-related information, including the prompt to apply emails, are now sent via Evolve.  Please ensure that you add evolve.notifications@edufocus.co.uk to your safe senders list.

The intermediate UKMT Club will start for Years 9,10 and 11 from Wednesday 5th November from 3 to 4pm in X1. This is to help prepare for the competition which is in January. Invitations to take part in the competition will go out in December to qualifying students. We look forward to problem solving and thinking outside the box. If students have any questions they should see Mrs Powell in X1

SWI have a special offer taking place from 27 October to 9 November, with 20% off all uniform items.

We love to hear about any Out of School Success.  We have had some fabulous entries this half term and would love to hear a lot more next half term.  With half term next week, I wonder if any of your young people are taking on any new challenges?  It could be sport, dancing, karting, music, animals, volunteer work, fundraising, cadets, cheerleading, gymnastics, personal achievements. etc.

The students are not always very forthcoming when it comes to celebrating themselves so we are relying on you to ‘brag’ about your child. To help us organise the responses, rather than replying to an email, please can you complete this form?  We will keep it open so whenever you have any news, please share, including any back-dated celebrations too.
