Year 11 students have completed their final exam for the half term, finishing with their first English Language paper this morning. We want to praise students for their focus and commitment over the past three weeks. We hope they have the opportunity to reflect, rest and (of course) revise over the half term break. Since Tuesday 6th May, 33 different examinations and 10 GCSE subjects have been completed. Well done for all that has been achieved to date!
National Thank A Teacher Day – Thank you for all the responses so far, we continue to welcome your nominations for Wednesday 18th June. This year, the aim is to recognise all members of the school community who play a crucial role in making Calthorpe Park School thrive. Please use this form to pass on your thanks.
Senior District Athletics – on Tuesday we took 60 students to compete in the Senior District Athletics Championships and had some excellent results with a total of 32 individual medals won along with a team overall win and all four teams finishing at least 4th or above. Radley H (Year 10) broke the championship record for the 100m, running it in 11.3 seconds, breaking the previous record of 11.4 which had stood since 1990.

As a department we are extremely proud of these results and all of the athletes who took part in the championships. County Championship selection took place this evening and pupils will be notified of selection before the end of the week.

If you would like your child to be considered for School Transport from September and they attend a mainstream school, apply by Saturday 31 May 2025 to ensure your application is reviewed before the new school year begins.
