Weekly Update – 2 May 2025
We would like to take the opportunity to wish all of our GCSE students the best of luck for their upcoming examinations. The written GCSE examinations commence on Tuesday 6th May.
Certificates were presented by Mr John and Mr Bibb this morning for high achievement in the UKMT as follows:
Year 11 – John S (in the top 20 UK students), Robert H (in the top 100 UK students) plus Xavier M, Oscar S, Morgan B, Jenson M, Alice B, Nathan H
Well done to these students and we wish them well in the next rounds!
We hosted a Year 3/4 Dance Festival here yesterday with students from Years 7, 9 and 10 helping out – see this link for details.
We currently have spaces for students who would like guitar lessons – please contact Mr Walker if your child would like lessons.
The PE department are holding a Sports Award evening next month and would welcome sponsorship donations towards this event. Any amount would be welcome, with money providing awards and provisions for the evening. Please contact Mr Barclay if you or your company are able to help.
