Weekly Update โ ย 16 May 2025

As Wednesday 18th June 2025 is National Thank a Teacher Day, we want to use this as an opportunity to celebrate the amazing staff here who work with your child every day. This year, the aim is to recognise the teachers and also the support staff who play a crucial role in making our school thrive. Last year, we received 272 nominations for colleagues at the school, and we hope to achieve similar nominations this year โ the link is here.
Message from Medical – As the weather warms up please can parents ensure that students either have a water bottle in school or money on their Scopay account to buy a drink during the day. Also students should NOT be carrying any medication in their bags with the exception of Diabetic Medications, Asthma Inhaler or Anaphylactic medications. Any other medications should be given into medical for safe storage. Reminder: we do not stock antihistamines in school – if students need these during the day, they need to be brought in from home and stored in the medical room.
We close for the half term break on Friday 23 May at 3pm and reopen on Monday 2 June. See our Term Dates page for various dates across 2025 – 2026.
The PE department are holding a Sports Award evening next month and would welcome sponsorship donations towards this event. Any amount would be welcome, with money providing awards and provisions for the evening. Please contact Mr Barclay if you or your company are able to help.
