Weekly Update – 10 October 2025
Calthorpe Park are proud to once again support the Young Minds Hello Yellow campaign on World Mental Health Day. Our Mental Health Ambassadors and ELSA have created a bright yellow Tree of Hope filled with messages of hope, encouragement and solidarity from our students. Each tag is a reminder that we all have mental health and supporting each other matters.
You will be aware that Thames Water are carrying out essential works along Hitches Lane and on the railway bridge until 27 November. While they have made every effort to maintain safe pedestrian access, they ask that students, parents, and staff remain vigilant when travelling through the area and follow all signage carefully—particularly during busy school drop-off and pick-up times. They are keen to stress the importance of using designated crossing routes and taking extra care when walking or cycling near the works. Please can you share with your child(ren) if they use this route? The Thames Water teams are conducting daily safety inspections, and pedestrian arrangements will continue to be reviewed to ensure they remain clear, safe, and effective.
