The Wellbeing Hub

We are delighted to announce an exciting rebrand of ELSA. From September, ELSA will be known as The Wellbeing Hub. This is an exciting step forward and a great opportunity to highlight the breadth of support available to students and families.
This new name reflects the wide range of support we offer to help meet the diverse emotional, social and mental health needs of our children and young people. The Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub will continue to provide the nurturing support students and families know and value, while better representing the full scope of services available.
We invite you to explore this new section of our website, where you can find more information about the many ways we support our young people to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
If you would like to find out more, please contact the team at wellbeing@cps.hants.sch.uk We are always happy to discuss how we can support your child and family.
Therapy Dogs
This term, Luna, our wonderful therapy dog, celebrated her 5th birthday with the Year 6 students on their transition day. Everyone enjoyed helping Luna celebrate with cake and a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday. It was a lovely occasion and Luna thoroughly enjoyed all the attention she received from her friends.
Luna can be found in Wellbeing sessions or out and about around the school, bringing comfort and smiles to students and staff alike. We are also lucky to have Charlie, who can be seen around the school and regularly joins students in the courtyard during lunch and break times on Wednesdays.
A special mention also goes to Zoom, who made a guest appearance for Sports Day and was warmly welcomed by everyone.
As well as enjoying their company, it is important that we all help to look after their welfare. This means being calm and respectful around them, giving them space when they need it and following the guidance of staff to ensure they are happy, safe and comfortable while they are in school.
We are so lucky to have these wonderful dogs as part of our school community. They bring joy, comfort and companionship to our students and staff every day. We are grateful for the positive impact they have across the school.
