Summer Term 2025 – June/July
Dear Parent/Carers
As we reach the end of another academic year, it’s a real joy to reflect on what has been a vibrant and fulfilling final term. From the unforgettable CPS production of 9 to 5 to a host of enriching experiences, reward trips, the breathtaking Iceland expedition, our much-loved Sports Awards, and the reflective Battlefields trip, our students have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm and pride. These moments have not only highlighted their talents but also deepened the sense of community that makes Calthorpe Park such a special place to learn and grow.
We also bid a heartfelt farewell to our Year 11 students, who marked their departure in true style. Their prom was a wonderful celebration, full of laughter, pride, and excitement for the future. We wish them every success as they step into the next chapter of their lives and look forward to welcoming them back on results day to celebrate their achievements together.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you, our parents and carers, for your continued support. Your thoughtful feedback and ongoing engagement have been instrumental in helping us evolve and thrive as a school community. Together, we are shaping a positive and dynamic future for our students.
Throughout the year, our dedicated staff have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the best possible outcomes for every student. Their commitment and professionalism are the foundation of so much of what we achieve, and we are deeply grateful for all they do.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to welcome our new Year 7 students in September, along with new members of staff who will be joining the CPS family. We’re also looking forward to launching our refreshed “Calthorpe Way” in the Autumn Term, an initiative shaped by the shared vision and values you helped us define last year.
On behalf of everyone at Calthorpe Park, thank you once again for your support. We wish you and your family a restful, safe, and joyful summer break.
Warmest regards,
Mr K John, Headteacher
