Summer Term 2025 – April/May
Dear Parent/Carers
I want to take this opportunity to praise our Year 11 students for the strong start they’ve made to their GCSE examinations. The dedication and hard work they have shown is truly commendable and is an inspiration to us all.
As you read through this newsletter, you’ll see highlights from the many trips and events our students have taken part in. It has been an incredible five weeks filled with growth, achievement, and memorable experiences.
At the time of writing, we are in the process of appointing our new Prefects. We are confident that they will do an outstanding job, acting as mentors to our new cohort and supporting school events and initiatives.
In life, it is necessary to strike a balance between academic success and personal wellbeing. I hope this break provides our students with the chance to revise, rest, recharge, and return to school ready to embrace the challenges ahead.
Have a wonderful and restful half term and I look forward to welcoming our students back on Monday, 2nd June 2025.

Monday 2 June – return to school for the second half of the Summer term
Thursday 26 June – school closed for INSET Day
Tuesday 22 July – school finishes at 12.40pm for the summer holidays
