Student Successes – Dance World Cup

Matilda R (Y8), Lily-Grace G (Y8) and Hayley H (Y7) have just spent the past week competing for England with their team-mates at the Kahli Lewis Dance Company at the Dance World Cup 2026 in Dublin. Dance World Cup is the world’s largest all-genre international dance competition for children and young adults with 11,000 competitors from over 50 countries. The girls have had amazing success and are coming home as world champions!

The results were as follows:

– Gold in Senior Large Classical Ballet Group 

– Silver in Junior Large National & Folklore Group

– Bronze in Junior Large Classical Ballet Group

The girls have been training and rehearsing for 6 months in the run-up to the competition and had to overcome the last minute challenge of being a team member down with only a few hours to spare. This meant last-minute changes to choreography and learning new formations shortly before going on stage. They worked so well as a team and achieved incredible results!
