Student achievements – November 2022

Congratulations to Chataika Chimuchere in Year 10 who signed for the Under 15 Academy team at AFC Bournemouth on Monday 28 November!

Well done to James A in Year 8 on his recent achievement at the UK speedcubing championships this year held over 3 days at the CBS Arena in Coventry during half term. There are several events but the main ones are the 2×2 and 3×3 cubes, and James won Gold in both events. In the main 3×3 event, starting with about 500 competitors there were three rounds before the final 16 battled it out to find a champion. James was up against the UK National record holder, Chris Mills, 11 years his senior.

At 13 years old James became the youngest ever UK champion!
