Police Workshop – 21 April 2026
On Tuesday 21 April we were joined by PC Steph and PC Paul for a workshop on indecent images and the law. Students behaved impeccably and with great maturity. When asked why having the police come to school was helpful, students said:
“As they enforce they law, it only seems right for them to come to the school to talk about the law.”
“The content is from real people who were affected, so it gives us a clear idea about what could happen to someone in those circumstances.”
When asked what they learned during the session, students said:
“Things are never deleted.”
“It is illegal to take nudes underage even if it’s just on your own camera roll.”
“Once you send something, you have no control over what happens to it.”
“Sending, receiving, making, and even threatening sexually indecent images is a criminal offence.”
Thank you again to PC Steph and PC Paul for bringing their first-hand experience and expertise to our students. We look forward to welcoming them back to CPS in future.
