Open Water Safety – 12 June

Please be aware that we have asked all our students to watch a short three minute video as part of their home-learning this week to promote personal safety in and around open water. This is following the loss of sixteen lives in the UK, including one fatality in the local area, during the recent heatwave. The video outlines the dangers that open water presents and also addresses how to respond to emergencies.

We would appreciate it if you could discuss this with your child and reiterate these vital messages.
