Football tour to France – February 2026

During February half term, 45 students from our Year 9, Year 10, and U16 Girls football teams travelled to France and Belgium to take part in this year’s sports tour. Over the course of the trip, our teams faced local French sides Louvière and Tourcoing in a series of competitive fixtures that challenged and inspired our players. A highlight of the tour was an academy coaching morning at Belgian giants, Club Brugge, where students experienced a professional training environment first-hand. They spent an hour working on technical and tactical drills out on the pitch, followed by an hour in the academy gym developing strength, conditioning, and movement skills. Across all matches and training sessions, students displayed outstanding levels of teamwork, resilience and competitiveness. Their conduct throughout the trip was exemplary; they represented the school with maturity, respect and enthusiasm, making the PE department incredibly proud. We look forward to building on this year’s success and offering further sports tours in the future.
