WHAT TO EXPECT
Students will complete the practical component of the Outdoor Activities unit, which requires active participation in adventure-based and environmental activities. This assessment will evaluate studentsโ ability to prepare safely and effectively, demonstrate appropriate skills, and engage actively in a specific outdoor pursuit (canoeing). The activity will also promote studentsโ physical health, wellbeing, teamwork, and confidence.
IMPORTANT:ย Activities will be led by qualified instructors, however parents/guardians should accept that, by their nature, adventure activities may involve some level of risk which cannot be fully eliminated.
