Doing DofE helps you leave your limits behind. Itโs the perfect way to try new things, meet new people, discover new talents, learn new skills, give to your community, feel more confident, make a difference, recognise your potential, boost your well-being and know that nothing can hold you back.
Whoโs it for?
Everyone! DofE is non-competitive and everyone is welcome โ whatever your interests, background and abilities. Itโs about finding the confidence to be yourself, and knowing that when things get tough, you can find a way through. So what are you waiting forโฆ?
To achieve your DofE Bronze Award you must complete a minimum of 3 months of the volunteering, physical and skills and evidence must be submitted before the expedition in June. However, one of them must be run for six months:
- Volunteering โ Duration 3 months
- Physical โ Duration 3 months
- Skills โ Duration 3 months
- Expedition โ Plan, train and complete a 3-day, 2-nights expedition
What you do is up to you
From surfing to salsa dancing, coding to candle making, beekeeping to BMXing โ itโs your call.
IMPORTANT: Students will get all the support they need to make sure they are fully prepared.
