The Music department hold two concerts per year, showcasing student talent and progress. These concerts, held just before Christmas and Easter, also raise money for the department, for new instruments, and for our linked charity, Ocean Stars, which creates educational opportunities for schools and communities in Sri Lanka.
The many hours of extra-curricular music lessons run by school staff and external music teachers culminates in these two special performances, along with accompanying the summer production as a full band. Our musicians also perform at local events during the year, both in our local primary schools and in the wider community.
