Enrichment
Enrichment is a defining feature of our school community, offering every student meaningful opportunities to explore their interests, discover new talents and develop confidence through a diverse range of activities including sport, drama, games, STEM, music, craft and other specialist clubs.

In addition, students at Calthorpe Park have access to an impressive array of trips from the curriculum-led field trips in Geography or theatre trips for Music and Drama to our character building residentials such as our Battlefields and Snowsports Trips.
These experiences reflect our vision to Inspire Minds, Shape Characters and Nurture Futures; students are encouraged to think creatively, challenge themselves, try something new and develop essential interpersonal skills such as resilience, patience and cooperation. Whether they are coding for lego robotics, competing on the pitch, problem solving for a Maths competition or collaborating as part of a board game, all students are given the chance to broaden their horizons, strengthen their character and build foundations for a bright and ambitious future.

Owing to the unwavering commitment and support of our staff body, at Calthorpe Park, there are clubs taking place every lunchtime and every day after school, from music and sport, to languages, board games and craft. The Calthorpe Park clubs offer changes throughout the year to allow for additional outdoor activities during the warmer weather. By promoting these activities during Tutor Time, through parent communications and internally on our display screens, we instill and promote our fundamental belief that all students should have an educational experience that is enriched and elevated by a broad and varied range of extra-curricular activities.
