Buddhist Vihara – October 2022

On Tuesday 4th October our GCSE Philosophy and Ethics students were privileged to be welcomed by the members of the London Vihara.

Following a short tour of this very historically rich venue, our students enjoyed a short talk on the teachings of Gotama Buddha and Theravada Buddhism. This was followed by a brief but very relaxing introduction to Buddhist meditation.

We all enjoyed our visit and were especially impressed with the very warm welcome we received from the monks.
