Autumn Term 2025 – November/December
Dear Parent/Carers
As we pause to reflect on a term filled with growth, achievement, and community spirit, I wanted to share some highlights and extend my thanks for your continued support.
This term, we were delighted to welcome back our Year 11 leavers for their Certificate Presentation Event. It was wonderful to see them progressing confidently on their post-16 pathways as they continue their academic journeys.
Year 7 ended the term with a disco, this was a special occasion to celebrate all they have achieved and their growing sense of belonging within our school community. Meanwhile, some of our staff and students are currently in Berlin . We can’t wait to hear all about the cultural experiences they enjoyed during their visit. We wish them a safe journey home and extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff who accompanied and supported our students throughout the trip.
We also enjoyed welcoming parent/carers to our Christmas Concert, this was a festive celebration of talent and community spirit. In addition, we have relaunched our PTA, reinforcing that we are a community built on celebration, success, and giving. Thank you for supporting all our charity events this term.
I have had the privilege to meet students who pursue hobbies, volunteering and fundraising outside of school, enriching their own lives, and making a positive impact on others. These “out-of-school successes” are truly inspiring, and I look forward to celebrating many more in 2026.
As we look ahead, I wish you and your families a happy and healthy Christmas. We look forward to welcoming our students back on Monday, 5th January 2026, for another exciting term.
From all of us at Calthorpe Park School, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year
