Whilst it is a pleasure to work in a school with students who are a never ending source of surprises and pride, and a body of staff whose commitment is second to none, hearing first hand from our parents about their child’s terrific experience at our school is priceless.
At our core, the team at Calthorpe Park School believe that every young person should be cared for unconditionally and valued equally. We take pride in our unique position, working with young people and every day we live by our ethos, seeking to inspire, shape and nurture our young people.
We strive to create a positive and happy family community, not least through our House system which permeates everything we do. Our HQ Team deliver a pastoral system which is well established and utterly committed to student welfare and personal growth.

Our students’ considerable academic successes and excellence are achieved, by providing a broad, balanced, stimulating and flexible curriculum that centres on the needs and engagement of the individual student. This is part of a much wider holistic education that we provide at Calthorpe Park School. We promote a philosophy of constantly challenging ourselves, both students and staff, to aspire to be the best we can be.
Our enrichment and charity events are renowned: from our annual Model United Nations and our relationship with the Ocean Stars Teams and associated annual trip to Sri Lanka to our house-based competitions and an amazing array of music, and drama performances and our annual art exhibition.
