Hello, my name is Esmé, and I am proud to be one of your Head Girls at Calthorpe Park. Working alongside SSLT, my role is to help our school community feel lively, confident and united. I aim to listen, support and bring students together, encouraging a culture of empathy, aspiration and mutual respect. 

I hope to inspire confidence in others — whether that’s celebrating achievements or simply feeling comfortable being themselves — and to help ensure our school is a place we can all be proud to be a part of.

Hello everyone! It is an amazing privilege to be one of your Head Girls this year and I am very excited to take on this extremely important and ambitious role. It is a great honour to be part of such an amazing team, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together! 

As a member of SSLT, it is my duty to make sure that everyone at Calthorpe Park feels valued, welcomed and that every voice is heard. We want our school environments to be revolved around building a stronger sense of community for our students to feel like they belong and ensuring that everyone receives the support and encouragement that they need to become the best versions of themselves. 

I am super excited to see what we will achieve together this year, and I hope that we can make sure everyone has an amazing year. Please don’t forget that I’m also here for anyone to talk to or give advice, so please feel free to reach out!  

Hello! I am very proud to have been given the opportunity to represent the school this year as the Head Boy. With the help of the Head Girls and the rest of the SSLT group, my role is to aid where necessary with teachers and other students to ensure the school and its events run as perfectly as possible. In the next year, I aim to make some changes in how classrooms are run and trying to make the classroom more accommodating for all learners across the school. I also aim to try and introduce a new approach to student voice with the help of the wider SSLT team that should allow students to share their voice without it having to be a big deal. I am excited to see where this next year takes us and look forward to it! 

Hello! I’m one of the Deputy Heads here at Calthorpe. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work with the Head Students and Heads of Prefects while organising and running events. I will also help students and staff as much as I can.  

This year, I would love to focus on mental health and the impacts of this on students, in the school environment. I am extremely kind and caring and always ready to support any students in need. If you would like to have a chat and you see me in school just let me know!  

Alongside SSLT, I will offer my ideas and take in student feedback to make an impact. This includes ways to heighten student voice and help organise charity events/activities in the school year.   

I’m looking forward to the year ahead and to being part of a talented and passionate team. 

Heya! I have, for this upcoming academic year, been given the opportunity of representing Calthorpe Park as deputy head boy – and I intend to seize every possible chance to improve the school community’s environment, atmosphere, and spirit. Of course, you aren’t here to read some cliche intro – you want to know what makes us different! What makes us (and in this case, me) so confident that we can inspire and enact impactful change? Well, as some famous person probably once said, actions speak louder than words. When my time is through, I hope to be able to look back fondly and know with certainty that my influence will have a greatly positive, lasting effect.  

But it’s not just about me, oh no. It’s our ability to work together that really puts the “T” in “SSLT.” As a group, our plethora of varied ideas and opinions will allow us to uniquely interpret and overcome any challenge.  Not only this, but also amongst the entire school. Like a series circuit (you’re welcome, science department), unless every component works flawlessly, there is still progressed to be made – only when every student feels content, and part of a safe, encouraging team, are we satisfied.  

As for myself, well, what else needs to be said? The position is in capable hands (and modest ones, I may add). I’m open to discussing anything – student voice and community contributions are an invaluable part of our leadership method (and I swear I’m not as insufferable in person as this paragraph would make it seem). Hi everyone! I am one of your Deputy Heads at Calthorpe and I am very excited and proud to be part of our SSLT team this year. It is an honour to represent our school and students in ways that embody the Calthorpe way and help make our school the best it can be. 

I am hoping to make our school a place of community and aspiration where we can all thrive and feel we belong. Through working closely with the other Deputies and fellow members of SSLT I hope to create an environment where all students feel included, valued and involved in their tutor, year groups, houses, and overall school community.

Hello, I am proud and excited to represent the school and Sapphire House. I hope to help boost house moral and be a positive presence to both my house and Calthorpe Park School. I believe this year the SSLT and I can make a significant impact on the school, to push for a greater, more inclusive environment that allows all students to feel comfortable and thrive.  

I look forward to working alongside Mrs Lambert and a great team of Prefects who are all as eager as me; so please do not hesitate to reach out. 

Hi everyone! As the Head of House this year for Amethyst I am honoured to be representing the school and SSLT team. My biggest aim for this school year is to focus on increasing overall positivity at school to create a supportive, inclusive environment for everyone as I believe that school should be seen as a safe and welcoming space.  

Additionally, good mental health is statistically shown to have a direct correlation with improved academic performance as it helps students to fully focus on their work whilst keeping a good balance between studying and downtime to focus on other exciting activities. This is another priority for me as it is crucial for emotional and mental development in adolescents. 

 Furthermore, I am going to be working closely with all of the Amethyst prefects and look forward to listening to their feedback and creating events for our house that showcase all of the amazing people in it and create friendly competition with the other houses. Over the course of this year, I hope to make an apparent impact on how students view school alongside all the other incredible members of the SSLT team.

I know that our SSLT Team this year will be excellent and always happy to help, and I also will try my best to use this role and opportunity to let you feel heard in a school as large as ours.

Hello! I’m looking forward to being the Head Prefect of Ruby this year. This is an amazing opportunity for me to work with the other talented students of SSLT and Ruby prefects to create a positive and supportive school environment for everyone at Calthorpe Park School.  

At Ruby house, we are proud to lead with kindness and respect. We believe in lifting others up, celebrating achievements, and making a positive difference every day. This year, we are aiming to encourage more teamwork within our houses, while staying kind and supportive. We are inspired by how small acts of kindness can make a big difference, creating an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and encouraged to succeed.  

Together, as Ruby, we are one team, united by kindness, respect, and determination. 

Hi! I’m very grateful and excited to have this position as Head Prefect of Topaz this upcoming academic year.  I am dedicated to creating an enthusiastic and productive school environment, to help grow aspiration and to allow more student voice to be accepted and heard. 

This year, I want to help students feel more included in not only the Topaz community but the whole school. I believe that this year, myself and the other members of the Student Senior Leadership Team (SSLT) can work efficiently together to shape the school environment into one where everyone feels confident to be themselves and into one where everyone strives for success.

Hello! I’m incredibly excited to be the Head of Emerald House this year. It’s a real privilege to lead such a hardworking, supportive, and ambitious house, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together. Emerald has always been a house full of energy and team spirit, and I’m extremely proud to represent it. 

Our motto is “Emerald = Positive Vibes,” and that’s something I want to champion not only within our house but across the whole school community. By encouraging kindness, inclusivity, and school spirit, I hope we can create an environment where everyone feels welcome, supported, and proud to belong. 

I’m also passionate about celebrating student success and making sure achievements of all kinds are recognised. Whether it’s a personal milestone, an act of kindness, or a fantastic accomplishment, every success deserves to be celebrated.
