Student-led Pantomime Competition
The Student Led Pantomime is back for 2022!
Following on from the success of ‘Cinderella’ in 2021, the Calthorpe Park Drama Department are pleased to announce the launch of this year’s Pantomime Competition.
We are looking for students to create their own Production Team for this competition to work in a similar fashion to Miss Oram, Mrs Shackell, Mr Boby, Mr Walker and Miss Kearns when we put on the School Production… so choose your Dream Team wisely!
Your production team will write, produce and direct a pantomime of your choice, with support from the Drama Department.
The production team will need a name and your proposal will need to consider the following:
- Writing the script with appropriate songs and music
- Auditioning, Directing and Choreographing the cast
- The design and incorporation of set and props
- Costume, hair and make-up
- The organisation of rehearsals
- The marketing and advertising of the production
This competition is open to all students
All entries, including a draft of the script, must be submitted Miss Oram by Friday 30th September 2022.
