Hengistbury Head - September 19

HH1

The Year 11 GCSE cohort of 126 students battled and dodged the inclement weather to complete the compulsory Geographical Investigations element of their course.

Over two days and some smart weather forecasting their were able to gather, measure and survey all the necessary data needed to complete their investigation on Coastal Management and Processes! The first site visited was the heavily defended Hengistbury Head in Dorset, followed by the rapidly eroding Naish Farm (Barton-on-Sea); two very contrasting sites.

We would like to praise the students for their commitment to learning and their positive approach over the course of the two days!
